Owl Carved in Log Section

An owl face carved in relief into the cut face of a log section, the bark left intact around the outside. The pale inner wood is worked into wide eyes, a hooked beak and layered feather scales; the rough dark bark forms a natural frame. Comes with a keyhole bracket on the back for wall hanging, or stands flat on a surface. Each piece uses a different section of wood, so bark texture, colour and grain vary considerably.
